Using this daily in cooking, and it is tasteless and great to cook with. I have nothing but positive feedback, and will be making this part of future oil going forward. My highest recommendation.

Nothing compares to its monounsaturated to saturated ratio or its levels MUFAs, in addition to its unbelievably high heat point compared to other MUFA products such as EVOO.

I didn't really know what to expect from this oil but- wow! This stuff is amazing. It is nearly odorless, tasteless and clear in color. I made salmon and this oil was perfect to cook with- at medium high heat, it did not burn in the pan. It brought out the flavor of the salmon without adding any other flavor. Even when it was hot it didn't have any kind of odor- but it was oily and kept the fish from sticking to the pan.
I also really liked the pop up spout that makes it easier to pour out the oil. The bottle is beautiful and looks like something you would find at a fancy cooking shop. It also comes very nicely boxed so a fantastic hostess gift. I mostly use olive oil and avocado oil before discovering this. I am shocked at how much I love this- it's amazing! I highly recommend giving it a try.

In my search for healthier oils with high smoke points, I stumbled upon this gem and I'm thrilled! It doesn't emit any fishy odors and has a pleasant taste. I'm looking forward to using it in recipes like chili garlic crisp and fish/seafood marinades for grilling. While the price is a tad higher than what I typically pay for cooking oil, its numerous benefits more than justify the investment.

We used Thrive for the first time when sauteing shrimp. The shrimp turned out perfectly and the neutral taste of the oil allowed the rest of the ingredients to shine. We also liked the pouring spout, great design.

Since is a high smoke point cooking oil, this is perfect for any stir fries or use it as baking oil. Nice flavor and really enhances the flavor of the dish . The bonus is how healthy the oil is. 10/10

I was drawn to this for the high smoke point. Sometimes, frying food can get a little hotter than you were expecting, y'know? I'm happy to report that, at no point during my cooking with this oil, did it ever start to smoke or do that thin, shimmery thing oil does as it gets too hot.

While this is apparently (at least in part) derived from algae, it doesn't really have any kind of algae taste that I can identify. Really, you just taste whatever it is you're cooking. The one issue is the price. Even great-quality fancy organic olive oils cost a fraction for the same amounts. Whether it's worth the price is, of course, entirely up to you.

i love this Thrive Algae Cooking Oil, good for your heart health, great for people who are health conscious, it is a little pricier however your life is on the line, take care of your body, we only have one life, your life is priceless. I love cooking with this oil everything turns out delicious and well cooked.

I've been on the hunt for healthier oils with high burning points and I'm glad I found this! It doesn't give of a fishy smell, and tastes good to me! Soon enough I'll make use of it for chili garlic crisp, and fish marinades for the grill. The bottle is nice and large and although it's a bit more than I'd normally pay for a cooking oil, its benefits make up for that!

I had never even heard of algae oil, but I'm trying to eat healthier, so I gave this a shot. I was expecting an oil flavor, like with oil, but it really is flavorless. This is great if you are worried about diluting the flavor of your favorite food. I used it to make potato pancakes on the stove and had no issues with smoking. It is made in the USA, which is always a big plus.

This is a very versatile oil that is neither smelly and has no distinctive flavor. It works great with many of the dishes that I already cook. It is labeled as a healthy oil and the fat ratios seem to be better than other traditional cooking oils. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a healthier alternative.

I've been trying different types of oils for cooking over the last several years, wanting something that is not too strong in taste to replace various vegetable oils. I really enjoy this algae based oil. It is light and largely odorless and neutral in flavor. It does have some sunflower oil included. The oil is very god for cooking, I used it to brown some pork loin and then use the fond for a sauce. I was very pleased. I also tossed some green beans in the oil and roasted them--again happy with the results. The bottle comes well packaged and has a pop up plastic spout that is very helpful. The bottle is thoughtfully designed. Ill keep using this oil but it is on the high end price wise.

I have never heard of algae oil, so I was a little hesitant, buty curiousity won over. This oil comes in a really nice package. There is no weird fishy, sea odor like algae sometimes has. It pours nicely out of the spot, and is great in recipes. We tried it with stir fry and it had no noticeable taste. Like others mentioned, it looks and cooks similar to vegetable or canola oil. The price is comparable to other healthy oils like avocado...and it is quite a bit, so it should last awhile!

This Thrive Premier Culinary Blend Algae Oil arrived in a nice packaging without any leaks or issue and the bottle has about 16.9 fl oz. The ingredients are amazing and this oil is a great source of Omega-9 which is great for overall health specially heart and I like the fact that it doesn’t have any odor. It’s a healthy oil to use for cooking and I think it’s worth a try.

This is good oil for cooking. It doesn't smoke, and no real flavor to it. The thing I really like is the dispenser on the bottle. It has a touch type valve that opens when you press it against the pan. It works great. This is a must for anyone that does a lot of pan cooking with oil.

My mom is having issues with high cholesterol and my dad with his heart so they have been making changes to their diet. My husband and me usually have them over for family meals weekly so we wanted to find a cooking oil that would be better to use when cooking for them. We cooked chicken this weekend and it tasted the same as if we would have cooked it with a less heart/cholesterol healthy oil. I really like the spout to pour oil out that pops up when opened it, it really helps not to pour out more than needed.

I had never heard of algae oil before seeing this product and was excited to try out. There is no odor or taste to this at all - it just tastes, smells, and feels like regular vegetable oil but nicer! Came securely packaged without damage despite the bottle being made of glass. And the bottle is really nifty as it has a built in oil spout inside the twist cap that pushes in when capped and then pops out when you go to use it. It is very clever and makes it easy to pour out the oil, no separate spout necessary! The oil itself is wonderful to cook with and does not interfere with the taste/smell of the food as it has no discernible taste or scent itself. It is also healthier than olive oil that I typically use and I love it!
